“For me, it’s making the playoffs still,” said Doncic.
“It’s a long season. It’s only been one month. We didn’t make the playoffs yet, so we’ve just got to keep going right now.”
Doncic began the week with a 42 point triple double against the Spurs. He followed that up with a streak of four straight games with at least 30 points and ten assists.Â
He is the only player other than LeBron James to have multiple 40 point, 10 assist games before the age of 21.
The only other NBA players in with longer such streaks are Oscar Robertson (twice), Nate Archibald, Michael Jordan and Russell Westbrook.

With an 11-5 record, the Dallas Mavericks are tied for third in the Western Conference. As well as that, they’re level with the Milwaukee Bucks for the NBA’s best rating. This season, Dallas is out scoring it’s opponents by 8.9 points per 100 possessions.
“We’re not going to get overexcited,” Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said.Â
“We know we’re capable. … The team is growing. This is a big win, there’s no question about that. This is a big-time place to play, and you’re playing against great players, and so our guys deserve credit. But, look, this is a process, and it’s day by day, week by week.”
