Given how cerebral Kuechly has been since even before his NFL playing days, and given his natural leadership skills, this isn’t really all that surprising.
He was pretty much a coach on the field for the Carolina Panthers throughout his tenure with the organization and is known for having an exceptionally high football IQ.
Beloved in the Carolina community, Kuechly would also be a tremendous asset to rookie head coach Matt Rhule, if he were to coach or consult with the Panthers.
