As March Madness Approaches, Every Game Counts

We may be only a week into February, but the closer we get to March Madness in the NCAA, the more every game matters.

Tonight, two ranked teams will be featured in contest which could help solidify their spots on the AP 25 and their spot in March Madness playoffs.

Florida Gators at Georgia Bulldogs

No. 17 Florida are -5.5 favorites against unranked Georgia. In SEC play, the Gators are 8-2 with a 18-5 overall record. They have covered in 14 games this season, making them a favorite among bettors.

The Gators have also covered in four of their last five road games which has seen the total hit the OVER.

In the Bulldogs favor, they are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven home games with a team with a straight up road game winning record.

The UNDER has hit in four of Florida’s last six games.

LSU Tigers at Kentucky Wildcats

No. 15 Kentucky are huge -23.5 favorites. Kentucky will be looking to bounce back from a SEC loss in which they fell to 8-2 straight up in conference play. The Wildcats are 18-5 overall with a 12-11 against-the-spread record.

The Tigers are 9-13 straight up, only covering in 8 contests this season, thus the large point spread for Kentucky. However, the Tigers have gong 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games.

For total bettors, LSU have hit the OVER in eight of their last 10. While Kentucky have hit the OVER in four of their last five.
