Memphis Grizzlies Vs Los Angeles Clippers Game 4 Preview
After back to back losses brought the Memphis Grizzlies back from the brink tying the series 2-2, the Los Angeles Clippers will be looking to grab the series lead back in the series in Game five of this intense first-round playoff series.
Tomorrow’s the biggest game of the season for us. We’ve got to win this game.
-Chris Paul
In order for the Clippers to win they are going to need to reevaluate what they are currently doing. In the last two games of the series the Grizzlies have been the better team both offensively and defensively. The Clippers, though, still remember years round 1 series with the Grizzlies, which saw the Clips come out on top after seven games. In other words, the Clippers know that it is not over yet.
It starts with us on the defensive end – having a physical presence there, making sure where our coverage is, and just locking in and having the intensity level go up as the game goes on
-Vinny Del Negro
A revitalized Clippers team should be coming to LA. A team that is offensively ready to overcome the solid defensive play of the Grizzlies and their defensive leader Marc Gasol.
Despite the Grizzlies surging over the last two games, most, including the sports books, have the Clippers as the favorite with a -5 point spread. Perhaps it has something to do with the Clippers returning to LA to take on the Grizzlies. In order for that to happening, the whole Clippers squad needs to step up and simply not give the Grizzlies a chance to even play nearly at their level.
You can catch this game on NBA TV at 10:30 p.m. ET.
