Mets Move To Favorites In Game 2

After taking Game 1 of the World Series, the Kansas City Royals are the underdogs tonight in Game 2 against the New York Mets. The Mets have a -125 moneyline. The Royals are still the -175-moneyline favorites to win the series.

The Mets will be looking to grab at least one game from Kansas City before they get home turf. New York will put the ball in the capable hands of Jacob de Grom. deGrom is 17-8 on the season with a 2.47 ERA.

The Mets will look to go up 2-0 in the World Series by sending Johnny Cueto to the mound. Cuteo has not performed as well as he has in the past since moving to New York back in July. He has a 3.75 ERA.

Game 1 was a close one, with the Royals barely edging out the Mets 5-4, thanks to a Eric Hosmer sacrifice fly in the 14th inning. Game 1 hit the over. Kansas City has now won its last six straight playoff games.

Tonight’s total is set at 7.5 runs. If bettors are betting with the trend, the OVER is the way to go. Since Aug. 1 the OVER is 22-8 when the Mets take the first pitch on the road. The OVER is 12-4 when Cueto starts since dawning a Royals uniform.
