MLB Futures Shake Up, Royals Stay On Top
At the beginning of the month the Kansas City Royals sat atop the World Series future odds and as we approach the last couple of weeks of the month the Royals stay on top.
The Royals finished the first part of the season on top of the future odds over at Bovada with 6/1 odds to win the World Series. The Royals do not have the best win-loss record in the MLB but they do have the best record in the American League. They went into the All Star break winning eight of their last ten games. They have also been able to continue their success into the month. As of late they have won six of their last ten games, though they are currently on a two-game skid.
The Washington Nationals no longer sit in second. The red hot Toronto Blue Jays are in second in the World Series future odds.
The Los Angeles Dodgers sit in third in the odds despite being on a three game skid and being stuck in a big of a rut. The St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs, who have been picking up steam lately, round out the top five.
