Mountain West Football: Week 8 Trends and Odds Preview
The Fresno State Bulldogs are the No. 17-ranked team in the country, and they look to continue their unbeaten streak at home as huge favorites over the UNLV Rebels. However, with senior quarterback Derek Carr, who is only 376 yards short of 10,000 career passing yards, they have their sights set on even greater goals.
“It’s kind of fun to talk about right now but doesn’t mean anything. I don’t think (No.) 17 is a stop sign for our guys,” said Bulldogs coach Tim DeRuyter. “We just have to get better every week and see how it goes.”
