Nate Burleson Agrees To One-Year Deal With Browns
On Sunday the Cleveland Browns reached an agreement with free-agent wide receiver Nate Burleson, who played the last four seasons for the Detroit Lions. Though the terms of the agreement are not yet known, a source tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter it’s a one-year deal
Burleson took to Twitter to introduce himself to Browns fans:
He also posted the following photo to Instagram, offering a little preview of what he’ll look like in a Browns uniform next season:
Burleson’s release from the Lions was a cost-cutting measure to improve their salary cap situation. Although he has been productive at times over his 11-year career in the NFL, Burleson has missed much of the last two seasons due to injury.
