The Golden State Warriors came into the NBA playoffs as the top seed in the Western Conference and the favorite to advance to the 2015 NBA Finals. Stephen Curry and company dominated the competition during the regular season only losing 15 games while paving the way for a deep playoff run.

On Saturday, the Warriors hosted the New Orleans Pelicans at ORACLE Arena in Game 1. Golden State came into the first game of the series as favorites against Anthony Davis’ squad and didn’t disappoint pulling out the seven-point victory over New Orleans.

Heading into Game 2, the Warriors are heavy favorites once again with a -12.5 point spread, according to Sportsbook.ag. Although the Pelicans kept chipping away at the Warriors’ lead in the fourth quarter of Game 1, Golden State was by far the superior team and will look to impose their will once at home before hitting the road for Game 3 in New Orleans.

An intriguing player prop bet for Monday’s game in the Bay Area is Davis’ combined total for points and rebounds. Currently, the prop bet stands at 38.5 Over/Under. Last game, Davis scored a game-high 35 points and ripped down seven rebounds. The same kind of production can be expected for Game 2 with the Warriors really having no answer for the up-and-comer.

As of right now, the Warriors are favored to win an NBA title at season’s end with 9/5 odds, via Sportsbook.ag. As long as team stays healthy and continues to produce across the board with Curry and Klay Thompson leading the way, Golden State has a great chance of winning a title.
