NBA Wed. Central Division Preview for Feb. 13

The NBA Central Division in the Eastern Conference is one of the most contested divisions in the NBA.  The Indiana Pacers are barely clinging to the top spot in the division with the Chicago Bulls only .5 games behind.  The Milwaukee Bucks are also looking to stifle their inconsistencies and become contenders.  They currently have a win percentage at .500, and with plenty of basketball left to play, they will be looking to get back into the playoff hunt.

Charlotte Bob Cats @ Indiana Pacers

The Pacers will be looking to recover from back to back overtime losses in this game and should hypothetically have not problem winning against the team with the worst win-loss record in the NBA.  However, one of those OT losses come at the hands of the Toronto Raptors who have the second worst record in the NBA, so anything can happen.

The Pacers need this win, especially considering the Bulls are breathing down their necks,  as the rest of February is going to be a rough one with games against the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers and  New York Knicks on the horizon.

Not surprising, the Pacers are the favorites to win this game with a -11 point spread.  The money line for the Pacers is at -780.  To bet on the Bobcats the money line is at +800.

Chicago Bulls @ Boston Celtics

The Bulls have been trailing just behind the Pacers as the leader of the Central Division nearly all season. Chicago has had a rough February with key losses to the Spurs, Nets and Pacers.  The Bulls will need to stifle the resurging Celtics and get this win, which could potentially put them over the Pacers as leaders of the division.

The Bulls may have more an advantage as the Celtics are playing without key players.  While the absence of Rajon Rondo has barely been missed by the Celtics, winning seven in a row without him, they just lost another key player, Rondo’s replacement, Leandro Barbosa.  Now is the Bulls time to begin pulling ahead of the Pacers.

The Celtics are the slight favorites with a -2 point spread.  To bet on the Bulls the money line is at +110 compared to the Celtics -130.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks will have the luxury of playing at home as they take on another team struggling to remain relevant in the NBA playoff picture.  The Bucks will be looking to break a four game losing streak and to move out of the realm of inconsistency with this game against the 76ers.

The Bucks are favored by -5.5 points.  The money line to bet on the Bucks is at – 240 to the 76ers +200.
