Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo wants ‘everyone back’ next season
The Milwaukee Bucks looked like they were going to pave their way all the way to the NBA Finals this year. Giannis Antetokounmpo and company were flying high. That is until they got cut down by a buzzsaw in the form of Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors.
With the Bucks being sent home early in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals with the Raptors moving on, Milwaukee will have some work to do this summer in order to keep their squad intact. Antetokounmpo has made it clear that he wants everyone back next season, via ESPN.

“I want everyone back,” Antetokounmpo said. “Great fricking team — unselfish players that play basketball the right way. They’re winners. We had a great atmosphere. We didn’t have no — I want to be polite. I want to say the A-word — we didn’t have no buttheads. Obviously, I want everyone back. I am going to let my teammates know that.”
The one player that he and the team may be most concerned about is Khris Middleton who will be a hot commodity on the open market once NBA free agency gets underway. The Bucks will have some competition to keep him.
Giannis, however, is already thinking to next season and the years to come.

“I don’t promise we’re gonna get 61 next year,” Antetokounmpo said. “But we’re gonna put ourselves in a place to be a championship contending team for many more years to come. And there’s not a lot of teams that can say that in the league — there’s one, two, three, four teams that can say that — but we’re gonna put ourselves in that situation for many more years to come.”
It’ll be interesting to see what the Bucks can do in the offseason and whether they can keep this team together around Giannis. If they can, Milwaukee will be a contender for the foreseeable future.
