Clippers’ Blake Griffin Cozies Up To Kate Upton

Just a fling or the real thing?

Last July Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin heated up his summer when he signed a five-year contract extension worth upwards of $95 million. With business out of the way, he’s spending this summer heating up the dance for with model Kate Upton.

First business, then pleasure. This is a man who has his priorities in order.

Griffin got the attention of…well…everyone when he was seen hitting up New York hot spots with the two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl last week. The New York Posts’s Page Six, who have their army of spies crawling Manhattan each night, had all the dirty details.

Actually, the details weren’t that dirty. According to their sources the couple met up as part of a group, but quickly started separating themselves from the pack. Upton was seen being very touchy feel with Griffin—playfully whispering in his ear throughout the night—before they tore up the dance floor together.

Apparently Upton has reportedly been dating Dancing with the Stars’ Maksim Chermkovskiy for a couple of weeks (or days), but something tells me it’s not too serious. You’d think she’d be a little more discreet about her galavanting with Griffin if there were feelings to be hurt.

Besides, Upton has a thing for athletes and seems to be a fan of most professional sports teams, so Griffin is more her type. She’s previously been romantically linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. Upton is also friendly with Oklahoma City Thunder big man Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets‘ James Harden.

She’s obviously a fan.

Which is exactly why Griffin should be careful and not get too attached to the 21-year-old party girl. Upton is fickle and seems to be a fan of every team in professional sports. She’s also got a wandering eye and is one of the most lusted after women on the planet.

Seriously! Pick some teams and stick with them.

That’s a recipe for heartbreak if Griffin finds himself overly smitten with this curvaceous sex kitten.
