Clippers Vent At Officials As Inconsistent Form Continues
Clippers All-Star Paul George was once again left frustrated by the officials after LA’s 105-89 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Wednesday night game was the second in a double header between the Mavericks and the Clippers. L.A prevailed 109 – 99 over Dallas on Tuesday.Â
The Clippers received the fifth fewest calls in a game this season on shots in the paint against the Mavericks. They received four calls and went 6 – of – 11 from the line.
“We’re putting a lot of pressure at the rim,” Paul George said.
“It’s insane that we’re not getting these calls. But it is what it is. It’s nothing new to me. Hopefully we’ll send a bunch of clips in. League’s gotta take a look at this.”

“I mean, our job is to be aggressive, attack,” George said.Â
“We can’t do much more than that, right? If they not gonna call it, they not gonna call it. And that’s the suck part about it, because we’re not flopping players. We’re not players that’s like throwing our bodies into other players.”
The Clippers’ sense of frustration might be misguided considering their form of late. To lose against a team they beat the previous night highlights their recent inconsistency.
They entered the first match against Dallas off the back of a 135 – 115 defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans. They have now lost six of their last nine matches.
The championship hopefuls began the year 21 – 8, and are now 5 – 8 since.Â

“Once we get there, gotta knock it down,” Kawhi Leonard said.Â
“We were 6-for-11 tonight, and I’ll take the lead on that one, being my fault. We just got to keep going, keep pushing, don’t worry about it, just play stronger and make those layups and floaters that we’re trying to get to.
“Just make every shot you shoot. That’s all we can do.”
