Kawhi Leonard, Paul George ‘fully healthy’ heading into Clippers training camp

The superstar due of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George hasn’t exactly gone as planned for the Los Angeles Clippers. Both players have dealt with numerous injuries during their time in Los Angeles, which has shed doubt on whether this team will ever be 100% at the right time.

Fortunately, the Clippers will be at full strength with their two superstars to start training camp next week, according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

LA Clippers stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are “fully healthy” entering next week’s training camp in Hawaii, according to Lawrence Frank, the team’s president of basketball operations.

Obviously, this is a good sign for the Clippers, as the team hopes to be a title contender during the 2023-24 NBA season and improve their chances of retaining both players before heading into the Intuit Dome next year following their last year at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.

“We’re still trying to maximize Kawhi and PG’s window and take advantage of it,” Frank said. “We’ve had consistent ongoing conversations with both of them [since they were extension-eligible] and their representatives, and at the appropriate time we’re hopeful that they remain Clippers.”

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out for the Clippers this season and whether this team can stay intact before moving into their new arena, as that will be crucial for the franchise moving forward.
