Kevin Durant has absolutely no regrets about signing with Warriors
Since Kevin Durant chose to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors in free agency, he’s caught flak from fans and media pundits concerning the move.
However, he’s stuck firm with the decision that helped him win his first two NBA titles. During a recent interview with Warriors forward Draymond Green for his Bleacher Report Chips show, Durant voiced he holds no regrets with the move.

“I felt like I was the absolute perfect fit with what you guys were doing on both ends of the ball,” Durant said via NBC Sports. “And I knew my game had reached a point where I needed to really see what that looked like. And I thought that was just a no-brainer. I would do that s*** a million times. And, again, I didn’t second-guess at all.
“I don’t have any regrets at all. I feel like we did exactly what we were supposed to do. And I wish we would have three-peated, because that’s rare, and we were like right there. But I don’t have any regrets at all, because I feel like if we can stay healthy with the Nets, we had a great chance to finish it, too.”

Kevin Durant may not have gotten the reception he hoped. However, it’s a move that he felt that he needed to do. He grew as a player and person that pushed him forward.
It was a move that he felt that he needed to experience. He still feels wholeheartedly that he got exactly what he wanted out of it on and off the court.
Durant believes it’s helped prepare him for his next NBA chapter with the Brooklyn Nets, where he is hoping to lead the team to a championship. Beyond that, it’s crystal clear that he is entirely happy with that career decision.
