Klay Thompson spent the first 13 years of his career playing alongside Stephen Curry to form one of the league’s greatest backcourt duos. The Warriors won four NBA titles as a result.

Meanwhile, the opening slate of NBA Cup games will also feature LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers facing off against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. The Lakers won the inaugural championship last season by defeating the Indiana Pacers.

Wembanyama is poised to take another significant leap forward after an impressive first NBA season that saw him capture the Rookie of the Year award and finish second for the Defensive Player of the Year honor.
