Men’s Basketball 2015 Champion Odds

The Bovoda odds of the team to win the National Championship in men’s college basketball have been released and the odds really shouldn’t be that surprising at this point with the season tipping off next week.

Based on what Bovoda is reporting, these are the top six teams with odds to win the National Championship this year:

Kentucky: 7/2

Arizona: 9/1

Wisconsin: 9/1

Duke: 12/1

North Carolina: 12/1

Kansas: 18/1

Understandably, Kentucky is the overwhelming favorite to win this year. Most notably, Arizona and Wisconsin moved past Duke and North Carolina to be more favored to win the National Championship.

Kentucky is returning some of the best players in the country and also was able to bring in some of the top recruits. Starting guards, Aaron and Andrew Harrison along with returning players Alex Poythress, Willie Cauley-Stein and Dakari Johnson, will be joined by top recruits Karl Towns and Trey Lyles.

With all of that talent, Kentucky should make a great case for being able to not only return to the Final Four this year but be a top team in the next couple years. Kentucky’s stars could’ve taken off to the NBA, which would’ve helped Arizona, Wisconsin and Duke’s chances of winning this year but they decided to stick it out.

Really, the odds for both Kentucky and Duke are looking good. Some people and experts are siding with one over the other but regardless, a team in blue has a shot of being a National Champion. Arizona and Wisconsin are also facing fair chances.
