Big 12 Hoops: Kansas State Wildcats vs Florida Gators; Kansas Jayhawks at Ohio State Buckeyes

The #8 Florida Gators have had trouble with Wildcats lately. Last season they lost to the Kentucky Wildcats three times. Last weekend they lost to the Arizona Wildcats. This weekend they face the Kansas State Wildcats. No they don’t have any games scheduled with Northwestern or Villanova. Kansas State is 8-2. However their two losses have been to the only ranked teams they have faced so far. They lost to the Michigan Wolverines 71-57 and lost to the Gonzaga Bulldogs 68-52.

The Texas Longhorns travel to face the#20 Michigan State Spartans. Texas will try to keep their momentum going after beating the North Carolina Tar Heels in their previous game. Texas got bad news from the NCAA this week as they will be without starting guard Myck Kabongo for the foreseeable future.

The #9 Kansas Jayhawks meet the #7 Ohio State Buckeyes in a huge game. These two met last season in the Final Four. The Jayhawks are 9-1. Their only loss was to the Big Ten’s Michigan State Spartans. The Buckeyes are also 9-1. Their only loss was to the #1 Duke Blue Devils. The two team meeting deep into the NCAA Tournament would not be a surprise this year either.
