Following Saturday’s comeback win over Syracuse, Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney refused to talk about quarterback Kelly Bryant any longer.
Bryant, who announced earlier this week he would transfer after being benched for Trevor Lawrence, was not available for Saturday’s game against Syracuse. When Lawrence exited after a big hit, freshman quarterback Chase Brice came in and finished with the win.
Swinney’s comments seem to indicate he is prepared to move on from Bryant. If so, even if Lawrence is sidelined for an extended period of time, the Tigers seem committed to Brice ass their quarterback.
