NCAAB Games To Watch This Week
Ranked teams are going to face some big challenges this week, in particular Duke who has two games this week against ranked foes. Here are our top picks for some games that are likely going to be close and fun to bet on.
Duke @ Notre Dame, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2
No. 5 Duke got past St. John’s last week witha 77-68 victory giving Coach Mike Krzyzewski his 1,000th win. The will now enter ACC play starting with the No.8-ranked Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish struggled against North Carolina State who forced overtime before Notre Dame found an 81-78 win. N.C. State has been a thorn in many ranked teams sides pushing them to the limit. Hopefully for Notre Dame’s sake, they did not shake the Fighting Irish’s confidence too much as they will need it against Duke.
UNC @ Louisville, Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN
These two teams met back on Jan. 10 and it was a heck of a game. North Carolina rallied from behind to beat Louisville and ended up winning on a layup from Marcus Paige with 8.5 seconds left on the clock. The Tar Heels have built a five game winning streak since then.
Louisville beat Pittsburgh in their last game. They will play Boston College before heading to their real challenge against UNC. They will be looking to avenge an early January loss and improve their record against Top 25 teams, which currently stands at 1-3.
Duke @ Virginia, Saturday 7 p.m. ET on ESPN
Needless to say, it is not an easy week for Duke. With two road games against ranked teams, three straight total, they are in for a long one, especially on Saturday when they meet undefeated Virginia.
Virginia’s defense  is the best in the nation. They will be tasked with stopping the ACC’s top scorer in Duek’s Jahil Okafor. He is averaged 18.5 points per game.
