New Orleans Saints Favored by Odds Makers to Win Super Bowl LIII

As the NFL regular season ends and the postseason begins odds makers have made the New Orleans Saints the favorites to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy as the winners of Super Bowl LIII.

The Saints were chosen as the +225 favorites on most sportsbooks in Vegas and online, while The Kansas City Chiefs had the second best odds at +400 followed by the Los Angeles Rams with +500, the New England Patriots at +600 and the Chicago Bears at +900 rounding out the top five.

At the start of the regular season the Saints were +1400 to win the Super Bowl and took over the favorite spot during their winning streak of 10 games that last until late November, after an opening week loss.

Chicago, who began the season with long shot odds of +10000, now have the fifth best odds on the board as of the start of the postseason and are a big liability to sportsbooks as many took several bets on the Bears at the start of the season following the acquisition of linebacker Khalil Mack.

Next weekend, the Bears play host to the Philadelphia Eagles in one of two NFC wildcard games. With Nick Foles status at quarterback for the Eagles uncertain, some sportsbooks have yet to post the line for that game.

In the other wildcard game in the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks and are 2.5-point home chalk.

The AFC wildcard games feature the Baltimore Ravens as 2.5-point favorites at home against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Houston Texans as 2.5-point favorites at home against the Indianapolis Colts.
