NFL Trades Cause Shifts In Future Odds
Several big trades and free agent signings yesterday have shaking up the NFL Super Bowl odds.
The biggest jump in the odds was the New York Jets. The Jets have re-acquired Darrelle Revis and picked up Brandon Marshall from the Chicago Bears in a trade and that was good enough to move them from 100-1 to 40-1 at winning the Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots losing Revis did nothing to change their 5-1 odds, so they will stay near the top of the odds.
Jimmy Graham moving from the New Orleans Saints to the Seattle Seahawks changed up both teams odds. The Seahawks now have 5-1 odds, tying the Pats at the top of the odds. Meanwhile, the Saints Super Bowl odds were negatively effected. They moved down to 30-1 from 25-1. The trade of of top end player Graham seemingly puts the Saints into official rebuilding mode.
