NFL Underdog Watch: Raiders Offer Value

The Oakland Raiders are by all accounts a bad team this season with a 2-10 straight up record. However, over the last couple weeks this NFL underdog has offered some value.

Right now they sit at 4-8 against the spread. However, their lines are getting so large that they are starting to offer some potential value. For example, last week they faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs at home and covered thanks to a large point spread.

The Raiders find themselves in a similar situation this week as they go up against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Raiders offense looked better last week, it will be interesting to see how they fare up against a slightly better defense in the Steelers.

Oakland have to cover an 11-point spread in this game. It seems their straight up losses are pushing their point spread to big numbers. If their offense play like they did last week we could potentially see a cover and thus some value in the Raiders as underdogs.

Another NFL underdog to keep an eye on this week is the Cincinnati Bengals. While it is true they are in free fall mode with ndy Dalton and A.J. Green out for the season. However, the Bengals are big 14-point dogs in this contest. The Chargers also do not perform particularly well at home, so watch Cincinnati for a surprise cover in this one.
