NFL Week 4 Bets: Colts Favorites For A Reason

As far as NFL Week 4 bets go, there is still a lot of question marks that are making bettors weary of picking a “smart” bet. However, in Week 4 I do not thing there is a smarter bet to make than one against the Houston Texans.

With the most famous defensive player currently on the field in JJ Watt and the fresh golden boy QB DeShaun Watson under center, this is a team that bettors love.

The reality is, this is a team sitting at 0-3. Many believe that Houston is a better team than the last three games have shown. As much money that gets put on the Texans every year, it falsely boosts their value. This is a team that is 0-8 ATS  in their last eight games going back to last season.

The Colts record does not look much better sitting at 1-3. However,  one of those losses is against the defending Super Bowl champs, a game they lost by four points. Veteran QB Andrew Luck is at the helm, and all they have to do to cover against the winless Texans is essentially win.

Colts are -3 favorites in this contest for a reason, they should win this straight up and cover.
