5 favorites to bet on in NFL Week 10

We are on the cusp of NFL Week 10, and we have some very interesting favorites bets to look at this week.

5. Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers (-9.5)

The Packers desperately need to win this game. It’s become a lost season if Green Bay can’t pick itself up off the mat and win against the mediocre Dolphins at Lambeau Field. While 9.5 points is a big spread, that’s also factoring in that Aaron Rodgers is going against Brock Osweiler. The chances that Rodgers doesn’t drastically outplay Osweiler are minimal, and so swallowing almost 10 points becomes much easier to do.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (-3)

This one is both based off gut and tape. The Colts and Jaguars are both 3-5, but Indianapolis has been playing tough football throughout the season, rarely losing by big margins. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have been largely getting blown out during their four-game losing streak. Jacksonville appears to be completely in the tank, and oh, by the way, Andrew Luck is going against Blake Bortles. Lay the field goal and eat well.

3. New Orleans Saints (-5) at Cincinnati Bengals

The Saints are absolutely rolling. New Orleans has won seven straight games including Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Rams, handing Sean McVay and Co. their first loss of the season. New Orleans comes into Cincinnati as a five-point favorite, and for good reason. The Bengals are going to be without A.J. Green for the next few weeks, and without him Andy Dalton is trying to beat a loaded Saints offense with Tyler Boyd and Giovani Bernard. Not an easy task.

2. Arizona Cardinals at Kansas City Chiefs (-16.5)

The Chiefs are easily laying the biggest spread of the week, just shy of 17 points. On the surface, this would be a great game to tease down to a lower line, but at the end of the day, the best payoff is to simply bet the Chiefs against the spread. Kansas City is playing at home, averaging damn near 40 points per game, and playing the NFC’s worst team. If the Chiefs score even 35 points, the Cardinals would have to net 19 to cover. That’s a tall order for an Arizona team that has been rancid offensively all year long.

1. Atlanta Falcons (-4.5) at Cleveland Browns

The Falcons are quietly getting themselves back into the mix for the playoffs. Atlanta has one of the best offenses in the game with Matt Ryan, Tevin Coleman, Calvin Ridley, Mohamed Sanu and Julio Jones, and while the defense stinks, it’s plenty good enough to beat Cleveland. The Falcons can’t afford to lose a game like this and they won’t, knowing that a tougher slate looms ahead.
