Browns’ Myles Garrett wants to put Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers ‘in the graveyard’

After a long waiting process, the Pittsburgh Steelers have finally done something that everyone knew was seemingly inevitable. The storied NFL franchise has signed four-time NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a short-term deal, setting the Steelers up to potentially have a solid option under center during the 2025 campaign.

With Rodgers finally putting pen to paper for the Steelers, the rest of the league is starting to react to the future Hall of Famer continuing his career with a team that is known for winning, especially under veteran head coach Mike Tomlin.

Another interesting wrinkle to this new chapter for Rodgers is the fact that he’ll be playing in one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, the AFC North. That has prompted Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett to send a message to Rodgers in their first season playing against one another as division rivals, via ESPN.

“I think it’s a good opportunity to put him in the graveyard,” Garrett said with a wide grin on his face.

Clearly, Garrett is relishing the opportunity to put Rodgers on the ground during the 2025 NFL season. The real question is whether he is up to the task of dealing with what could be a tough season filled with defensive players who want to come after him.

It’ll be interesting to see how this stage of Rodgers’ career goes, as he might have a better chance to make some noise in Pittsburgh than he did with the New York Jets over the last two seasons.
