Buccaneers know they’ll have to adjust to Tom Brady

It has been a few months to settle into Tom Brady now being a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

That has seen him continue his path toward adjusting to his new teammates and scenery with the franchise. It has been a process that has worked both ways as Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller has voiced that the team has had to adjust with working with Brady, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

“Tom, obviously, has run like every offense you can possibly run, run every play you could possibly run in his 20 [years] in the league,” Miller said. “So Tom will do a great job coming in and learning. It’ll be no problem for him. And then Tom has little things that he likes. So I think it’ll be a healthy mixture of both. I think with Tom’s knowledge and our coaching staff’s knowledge, we’re going to be put in a great situation to be successful.”

It’s a process that works both ways, as it’s more than just Brady learning to adjust to his new surroundings. That onus also falls on his teammates getting know him and his tendencies to get the most out of each other on the football field.

There is plenty of buzz around the Buccaneers with the optimism that the franchise can be one of the top teams in the 2020 season. Brady’s presence has put potential Super Bowl expectations on the organization in what should be a fascinating year ahead in Tampa Bay.
