Cardinals picked to be the next NFL team on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’
As the Arizona Cardinals move through a bumpy offseason, the franchise will have an increased spotlight throughout the 2022 season.
The Cardinals will be the featured team on the HBO’s “Hard Knocks In Season” program. It marks the second time the team will have that designation with a docuseries.
The franchise was part of Amazon’s “All or Nothing” series for the 2015 season. However, it marks the team’s first time on the “Hard Knocks” program.

The Cardinals are moving through an offseason that has been significantly tagged with many storylines. Above all else has been star quarterback Kyler Murray’s contract situation.
Murray has made it clear that he wants a lucrative long-term deal with the Cardinals. He still has two years remaining on his rookie contract, making his contract demand a bit early for the norm.
However, Murray sees the market for contracts for franchise cornerstone players at his position over the last couple of offseason. The likes of Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, and Aaron Rodgers have all secured long-term deals.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals will be without star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for the first six games of the 2022 season due to violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.

Arizona acquired Marquise Brown during last month’s draft to help soften the blow, but the suspension puts the team without their top receiving target for a sizable chunk of games.
There will be plenty of storylines to follow around the Cardinals as the 2022 season progresses.
