Chiefs star Tyreek Hill Definitely Has Bill Belichick’s attention

In the last couple of seasons, Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has established himself as one of the best playmakers in the league.

This will be put to the test against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game on Sunday night. It is a unique challenge that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick acknowledged by stating that Hill’s speed is what separates him from everyone else, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

“We’ve seen it. A lot of our players have dealt with it and, as you said, have to make those subtle adjustments in terms of angles and leverage and so forth,” Belichick said. “Every situation is a little bit different. Who’s where and how fast everybody is moving and what direction we’re going in and the opponent is going in and so forth. Yeah, certainly there has to be an awareness of that. It’s a little bit different with him than everybody else; no question.”

Hill has greatly utilized his track-like speed to continue to be a major factor in the passing game. He has established himself as their biggest playmaker as he has the ability to score a touchdown on any play.

This is something that the Patriots will look to hone in on. Especially after his performance against them in the regular season. This saw him haul in seven catches for 142 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Given that Belichick has touched upon the topic ahead of the matchup, it will surely be a driving point for the defensive game plan to limit Hill’s impact on the game.
