Chris Jones promises ‘five-plus rings’ during his time with the Chiefs
After the Kansas City Chiefs won their first Super Bowl title under head coach Andy Reid, the team took care of superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and defensive tackle Chris Jones. The team signed Mahomes to a historic contract at $503 million and soon after made sure Jones got paid what he deserves at $85 million over four years.
With Chris Jones happily inking a deal that will pay him $60 million guaranteed, the star defensive tackle couldn’t help but talk about his excitement for the future. Jones was so elated that he promised the would go on to win five or more Super Bowl titles with him in the mix on defense, via Pro Football Talk.

“This is only the beginning,†Jones said. “We plan to have another parade and another parade and another parade. We’re going to make sure we bring not one, not two, not three, not four, but five-plus rings to Kansas City. It’s been 50 years of waiting, but the wait is over now. It’s time to create a dynasty.â€

At this point in time, no team in the NFL is as talented as the Chiefs on both sides of the football. The offense alone is as intimidating as we’ve seen in league history with Mahomes potentially making a case to go after Joe Montana and Tom Brady as perhaps the greatest quarterback of all time if he can keep leading Kansas City to titles.
Along with Mahomes leading the way under center, Reid is a Hall of Fame coach that’s coming off his first title and will be looking for more while getting as much as he can from his rising star at the quarterback position.
