Colts star TY Hilton is focused on the upcoming season not his contract situation
The Indianapolis Colts are a team on the rise in the AFC. Although star quarterback Andrew Luck shockingly retired from the NFL before last season, the team reacted quickly this year by bringing in proven veteran gunslinger, Philip Rivers, to fill the void temporarily.
One of the big questions moving forward for the Colts is what is in store for T.Y. Hilton’s longtime future with the team. The star wide receiver could be on the verge of a contract extension, but the team has done nothing on that front, however, he is not concerned, transcription via Pro Football Talk.

“It is what it is. We’re gonna concentrate on right now and at the end of the season we’ll go from there. . . . Right now I’m not thinking about it,†Hilton said, via Clark Wade of the Indianapolis Star. “I’m thinking about this team and where we’re at right now. Especially with me just trying to get better and back out there with my teammates.â€

As arguably one of the best wide receivers in the NFL today, Hilton will get his money one way or another whether it be with the Colts or elsewhere. He seems to know that fact and that will almost certainly put some pressure on the franchise to get something done sooner rather than later.
Last season, Hilton had somewhat of a down year playing in only 10 games for the Colts. He finished with 501 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 45 catches. Hilton has five 1,000-yard seasons to his credit and 45 total touchdowns.
