Dak Prescott: Odell Beckham Jr. ‘knows how much I want him’ on the Cowboys
Over the last few weeks, the interest around free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has grown more prominently.
Beckham is believed to have a strong interest in joining a team aimed toward the playoffs and a possible Super Bowl push. The Dallas Cowboys are among the top suitors for the former Pro Bowler, especially with the team moving toward securing a postseason position.
Quarterback Dak Prescott has become a key factor in trying to lure Beckham to the Cowboys, revealing that he has spoken to the 30-year-old.
“He knows how much I want him here, and a lot of these guys in this locker room I’ve seen have reached out on their own in different ways to making sure that he understands that this is a team that he can help,” Prescott said via ESPN. “And we want him to come help.”
Prescott is doing his part to pitch playing for Dallas alongside teammate Micah Parsons, who has publicly recruited Beckham via Twitter. The Cowboys possess a strong offensive unit with several playmaking talents such as CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Tony Pollard, and Ezekiel Elliott.
Beckham could provide another game-changing element to the passing game as he did with the Los Angeles Rams last year. However, there remains some uncertainty about when he will return to the field this season.

He is rehabbing from a second torn ACL that he suffered in February during Super Bowl 56. Nonetheless, wherever Beckham chooses to play, the Cowboys will be well in the mix to land him.
