Dalvin Cook admits high possibility he’ll sign with the Jets
Free agent star running back Dalvin Cook appears to be nearing closer to finding his NFL stop. Cook reportedly visited the New York Jets this week, prompting discussion that he may join the franchise. During a recent interview with NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football,” he all but suggested that he would sign with the franchise.
“I think [the odds] are pretty high, man,” Cook said via ESPN.” “I think we’re in a position of, you know, a team that’s building something special, and I want to be part of something special as a player. I want to add to whatever they’ve got going on.
“The possibility is high right now of getting things done.”

Since being released by the Minnesota Vikings after six seasons, he’s remained afloat in free agency. Cook was initially linked to the Miami Dolphins due to the hometown connection. However, the conversation hasn’t gone further than that.
With training camp underway, the Pro Bowl running likely wants to find his next team so that he can create an immediate impact. Cook remains one of the league’s offensive talents, especially after posting his fourth straight 1,000-rushing-yard campaign.

Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ decision to take a voluntary $35 million pay cut may have made adding Cook a realistic scenario.
If he joins the Jets, he will play a significant factor in the backfield alongside Breece Hall. Hall has yet to practice this offseason due to his recovery from ACL surgery last October.
Hall is expected to be ready to go for the season opener.
