Dolphins have made an offer to veteran WR Odell Beckham Jr.
As the free agent market dwindles down, star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. sits near the top among the top remaining available talent. The Miami Dolphins have swiftly entered the picture as the top target pursuing Beckham.
The Pro Bowl wideout visited the team last week but left his visit with the team without a new deal.
“Things went great with him,” head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters of the visit via ESPN. “We did make him an offer, and business takes time, especially with players such as Odell, who’s had a phenomenal career, still has really good football in front of him and has options. So, I think those conversations will be ongoing. We’ll see where they go.”

The Dolphins clearly hold a strong interest in landing Beckham. The team already boasts a formidable passing game duo with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. However, the former All-Pro could step in to further solidify the offense.
However, Beckham’s stock has fallen over the last three seasons, as he’s failed to reach 50 receptions and 600 receiving yards even just once over that span.
The LSU product struggled to gather significant traction last year with the Ravens. He recorded 35 catches for 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns in Baltimore.

Beckham will also be another year removed from his second torn ACL, as he should be more explosive as a wideout.
The Kansas City Chiefs were also rumored to have potential interest, but that has since waned. Ultimately, there should be clarity on this front in the near future.
