Dolphins Jets Rematch Highlights AFC East Schedule
The AFC East is football’s tightest division. The New England Patriots lead the east with a 4-3 record. One half game behind them is the Miami Dolphins at 3-3, followed by the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets at 3-4.
The Miami Dolphins visit the New York Jets this weekend. The last time the two met, the game went into overtime with the Jets pulling it out 23-20. After a Dan Carpenter missed field goal in overtime failed to win the game for Miami, the Jets Nick Folk nailed the game winner even after Miami called a timeout to ice him just before the snap of hid first attempt. In that game, the Jets lost cornerback Darrelle Revis for the season to a knee injury.
5Dimes has the Dolphins +1 +105 or +113. The Jets are -1 -125 or -133. Over/under is 41. The Dolphins have had two weeks to get ready for this game while the Jets are coming off a tough loss to the Patriots. We like Miami +113.
The New England Patriots visit the St. Louis Rams. The Patriots are -7 +105 or -290. The Rams are +7 -125 or +245. The over/under is 47. The Rams have one of the NFL’s toughest defenses. We like the under and the Rams +7.
The Buffalo Bills are off this week.
A Patriots loss on the road to the Rams, such as what happened the last time they went on the road against the NFC in Seattle, would continue to tighten this division. First year head coach Jeff Fisher has the Rams very much improved over their past few seasons. Don’t be surprised if it happens.
