Giants QB Eli Manning admits Odell Beckham Jr. is most talented player he’s played with

Earlier this month, the New York Giants made the decision to part ways with Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in a trade to the Cleveland Browns.

During that span, quarterback Eli Manning had the privilege of throwing to Beckham Jr. throughout his tenure with the franchise. In light of that, Manning was recently asked who was the most talented player he has played with his career to which he responded with the All-Pro wideout being that answer, according to Neil Best of Newsday.

“Odell.”

This is a huge compliment given that Manning has played with a plethora of talents such as Tiki Barber, Amani Toomer, Plaxico Burress, and Saquan Barkley. However, each of these players did not possess the type of production and athletic ability that Beckham Jr. aside from Barkley, who has just wrapped up his rookie campaign.

During his first five years with the franchise, Beckham Jr. established himself as one of the premier players in the league at his position. He has been freakishly talented and gifted athletically that has been a true game-changing factor.

This saw him become the first player in NFL history to post at least 90 catches, 1,200 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons. Meanwhile, he became the fastest to reach 250 career catches and 5,000 receiving yards.

Beckham Jr. is now set to begin the next chapter of his career with the Browns, where he will play a major role in the passing game for their revamped offense that could take off as a legitimate playoff contender and possibly more in the AFC next season.
