Giants star Malik Nabers ‘feeling great’ despite injuries

The New York Giants are hoping for a bounce-back year during the 2025 NFL season, and one of the main reasons for optimism to make that happen is star wide receiver Malik Nabers.

The second-year wide receiver gave an update on how he is doing while battling through injuries during Giants training camp. The coaching staff has been limiting his reps during practice sessions, and he seems okay with that, via Jordan Ranaan of ESPN.

“I’m doing fine. The coaches and the training staff have this process they want me to do to be that has me being healthy when we’re ready to play,” Nabers said after practice. “So I just have to do my job and follow the plan that they put in here.

“Just part of the plan.”

Nabers was a breakout star last season, as he proved doubters wrong after the team received criticism for bringing him in rather than going for a quarterback.

The LSU product will be that much more motivated in 2025 with the team bringing in some quarterbacks. The Giants have added Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie Jaxson Dart, giving the team a deep quarterback room.

Despite his injuries, Nabers claims he’s “feeling great,” as the team prepares for the preseason.

“I don’t think it has been affecting me. I’m still continuing to make plays, still continuing to feel good when I’m out there,” Nabers said. “Some days are better than normal. For now, … I’m feeling great.”

Nabers put up some impressive numbers during his rookie campaign, catching 109 passes for 1,204 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
