Jalen Ramsey will be ‘ready to roll’ for Rams season opener
The Los Angeles Rams are readying to begin the difficult task of repeating as Super Bowl champions. It’s a feat which hasn’t been accomplished in nearly two decades.
The Rams will start the journey with a challenging matchup in Week 1 action against the Buffalo Bills. In the weeks ahead of the contest, some uncertainty remained around Jalen Ramsey’s status. The star cornerback is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.

Head coach Sean McVay brought some much-needed clarity to the forefront. He confirmed that Ramsey will play against the Bills on Thursday night.
“He’s feeling good,†McVay told reporters on Friday via Pro Football Talk. “He sure looks good out here and so he’s feeling good and he’s going to be ready to roll on the 8th.â€
Since the Rams acquired Ramsey, he’s been a key component in their defensive identity behind his skillset as arguably the best cornerback in the league. He has brought a strong presence to Los Angeles’ secondary. That will be needed again if the team hopes to make a strong push toward hoisting the Vince Lombardi trophy.
