JuJu Smith-Schuster wants to re-sign with Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a disappointing end to the 2020 NFL season in which they failed to live up to expectations in the playoffs with a loss to the division rival Cleveland Browns.
In the aftermath of the loss to the Browns, the storied franchise is trying to figure out its short-term future. The first order of business was deciding on whether to bring back veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. After much back and forth, it seems like they’ll bring him back. The next order of business might be determining JuJu Smith-Schuster’s future, who wants to return to the team next season, via TMZ Sports.

“At the end of the day, I want to have my legacy in Pittsburgh and retire there,” the 24-year-old says. “I don’t want to leave.”
Although he was spotted in Los Angeles by TMZ, Smith-Schuster doesn’t foresee himself in the city. He’s not attracted to the Los Angeles Rams or Los Angeles Chargers in spite of their talent at the quarterback position.
In fact, when we asked if he could see himself in a Chargers or Rams jersey in 2021 … JuJu told us straight up, “Not right now. Until I actually get let go, other than that, I’m Pittsburgh for life.”

Smith-Schuster played in all 16 regular-season games for the Steelers in 2020. He finished with 831 yards and a career-high nine touchdowns on 97 receptions.
Another solid season for the University of Southern California product, which will almost certainly make him an attractive option for teams looking to upgrade the wide receiver position during this NFL offseason.
