If you’re betting on five teams to emerge from the 2021 NFL regular season as postseason participants, these clubs are mortal locks. Below we examine the NFL power rankings.
5. Tennessee Titans
Surprised to see Tennessee on this NFL power rankings list? Understandable, but think about the context of the Titans’ situation for a minute. General manager Jon Robinson added a slew of talent to the team this offseason, including the signings of edge rusher Bud Dupree, defensive tackle Denico Autry, corner Janoris Jenkins and receiver Josh Reynolds, before trading for receiver Julio Jones. Additionally, Tennessee was already a playoff team and most importantly, it plays in the weak AFC South. Who is challenging the Titans?

4. Green Bay Packers
The Packers went through and ugly summer, but they come out of it with the best team in the NFC North by a considerable margin. While Green Bay did lose All-Pro center Corey Linsley in free agency, the rest of the team state together. This is good news, considering the Packers are 26-6 over the past two seasons, reaching the NFC Championship Game in each. With Aaron Rodgers under center, Green Bay is a favorite to win it all.
3. Buffalo Bills
Head coach Sean McDermott has to be thrilled about the team under him. Buffalo went 13-3 last year and won the. AFC East for the first time since 1996, winning a player of playoff game before losing in the AFC title game. The Bills had major continuity in the offseason, avoiding any major losses while adding veteran receiver Emmanuel Sanders. While the AFC East got tougher with both the New England Patriots and New York Jets improving, Buffalo is still the class of the division.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The defending Super Bowl champs famously kept all 22 starters, and the division is a complete disaster around them. Perhaps the New Orleans Saints are the biggest competition, which says something ass they are replacing Drew Brees with Jameis Winston. The Buccaneers also have one of the easiest schedules in the league, driven by playing their own division. While Tom Brady is 44 years old and the rest of the roster is aging, Tampa Bay should cruise to the postseason.
1. Kansas City Chiefs
Easy call here. The Chiefs have only missed the playoffs once since 2013, when head coach Andy Reid took over. Even in that year, Kansas City went 9-7 in ’14. With Patrick Mahomes at the controls, the Chiefs have only lost eight regular-season games over three years. If Kansas City stays healthy, it’s the best bet to be in the NFL playoffs.
