NFL RBs Saquon Barkley, Todd Gurley working out together
The start of training camp around the league is still a few weeks away, which has given players plenty of opportunities to workout on their own schedule away from their respective teams.
Los Angeles Rams star running back Todd Gurley and New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley have used the time to work out together that includes them deadlifting 315 pounds while doing 42-inch vertical leaps.

The duo are clearly gifted athletes that have helped them become legitimate NFL running backs. Gurley has quickly established himself as one of the premier players in the league after putting together the most productive campaign that saw him earn the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award after recording 2,093 scrimmage yards and 19 total touchdowns.
This also saw him become just the third player in league history to post at least 2,000 scrimmage yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, and more than five touchdowns receptions in a single season that he joined Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk and O.J. Simpson.
Meanwhile, there is much hope that Barkley can quickly step in to be a huge factor out of the backfield for the Giants where he’s expected to be the starter out of the gate in the 2018 season. Since taking him with the second overall pick, New York has continued to speak quite highly about what he has shown so far through the offseason workouts with much praise toward his physical ability.
With each showing to be in great condition at this point in this offseason, it could lend well to them posting highly productive campaigns.
