NFL Week 14 schedule: 5 teams that need to win most
The NFL Week 14 schedule is about to begin, and these five teams desperately need to find a victory come this weekend.
5. Los Angeles Rams
It’s time the Rams stand up and win another game against a good team. Los Angeles handled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in Week 3 and since then, haven’t been able to take down a contender. In the stretch, they’ve lost to the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers. Oh, and the Arizona Cardinals, who they visit on Monday night. With a win, the division is open. With a loss, it’s all over.

4. Buffalo Bills
Buffalo is another quality team that is starting to look like a second-tier contender. The Bills lost at home to the New England Patriots on Monday night despite quarterback Mac Jones only throwing three passes for 19 yards in the 14-10 win. Buffalo is now 7-5 and with a loss at Tampa Bay on Sunday, might well need to run the table to get into the postseason. This, after the Bills began the year at 4-1 and looked destined for the Super Bowl.
3. San Francisco 49ers
We start the top three with two teams playing against each other. The 49ers struggled in a bad loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and now travel to Cincinnati to meet up with the 7-5 Bengals. Both teams are in their respective playoff pictures as wild card teams, but whoever loses in the NFL Week 14 schedule is in real danger of staying home for the holidays. It’s time for Jimmy Garoppolo and the offense to make some plays.

2. Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati is also coming off a defeat, falling at home, 41-22, to the Los Angeles Chargers. In addition, quarterback Joe Burrow got banged up in the loss, injuring his right pinky. The Bengals need to bounce back with a brutal schedule upcoming, including games against the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns. For Burrow and his teammates, a win would go a long, long way towards putting the Bengals in the playoffs.
1. Cleveland Browns
It’s time for the Browns to either step up or go home. Cleveland is 6-6 coming out of its bye and is welcoming in the Ravens, who beat the Browns 16-10 the last time we saw them. If Kevin Stefanski’s group is going to make a playoff push, it begins with earning a split against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, before trying to win out over the final month of the regular season.
