Packers QB Aaron Rodgers reveals ‘most frustrating thing’ about this season
The Green Bay Packers have fallen to yet another disappointing loss on Thursday night 27-24 to the Seattle Seahawks.
Following the game, Rodgers voiced his mounting frustrating with how the season has continued to unfold for the Packers having dropped each of the last three games in disappointing fashion, according to Michael Silver of NFL.com.
“We’ve lost too many games like this — that’s the most frustrating thing,” Rodgers said following Green Bay’s latest coulda/woulda/shoulda setback in a season full of them. “We’ve had a chance in almost all our road games — especially against the Rams and the Patriots, and again tonight. We’re right there. But we just can’t get it done.”
It has been nothing short of a disappointing last couple of weeks for the Packers in what could have seen their season in the other direction. Green Bay has been in each of their last three losses with plenty of opportunities to pull out wins.
However, the team has continued to fall short in critical areas that have pushed them into a tough spot in trying to secure a playoff spot. Green Bay is now two games behind the Chicago Bears for the NFC North division lead, while things are murkier for the wild-card picture with several other teams looking to secure a spot.
All of this sets the table for them to have to put together a strong finish to the season in order to make a serious run at the postseason over the last seven games.
