Patriots QB Tom Brady On If He’ll Play Against Jets: ‘We’ll See’

The New England Patriots are cruising toward another AFC East division title this season. The storied NFL franchise sits atop the division standings with an 8-2 record, and all signs appear to be pointing in the right direction for New England. Unfortunately, Week 12 may pose a challenge with superstar quarterback Tom Brady dealing with a knee issue.

According to Patriots.com, Brady has officially been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jets. Although this is cause for concern, Brady rarely misses games, and most anticipate he’ll be under center come Sunday.

However, Brady wasn’t ready to say he’ll be on the field this weekend on Friday. The four-time Super Bowl champion was asked whether he’ll play against the Jets and gave an answer that doesn’t exactly instill confidence, via Ryan Hannable of WEEI.com:

Along with Brady’s status for Sunday’s game against the Jets still up in the air, the Patriots may also be without star tight end Rob Gronkowski for a second straight week. Gronkowski is still recovering from a chest injury he sustained from a hit from Kam Chancellor during the loss to the Seattle Seahawks a few weeks back. The All-Pro is considered questionable for Week 12 as well as Brady.

To make matters worse for New England, fellow tight end, Martellus Bennett, is also considered questionable to play due to an ankle and shoulder injuries. It could be a rough week for the Patriots if their three best offensive weapons on watching from the sidelines while backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo tries to lead the team to their ninth win of the season.
