Patriots stars Tom Brady and Josh Gordon are already back at it

The New England Patriots are coming off their sixth Super Bowl title in the Tom Brady Era, but that hasn’t slowed him down a bit.

Brady took to social media on Wednesday posting a gif on his account of him throwing a pass to teammate Josh Gordon in an offseason workout.

Gordon is currently on an indefinite suspension that he had been assessed this past season as there is no timetable for his return. This had been due to what’s believed to be because of a slip up with his personal life regarding substance abuse.

Since then, the Patriots have been quite supportive of the star wideout throughout the process. This gif from Brady is evident that he has the full support of the entire organization while it also indicates that there is hope that may be able to return to the field at some point next season.

There is currently still much up in the air in terms of how this situation can be resolved. Gordon has an interest in making a return to the field at some point, but that lies outside of his control.

When on the field, Gordon has proven to still be a highly talented wide receiver and had showcased that with the Patriots. He had become one of Brady’s top targets in the passing game as he had 40 catches on 68 targets for 720 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 11 games played after being acquired from the Cleveland Browns. Only time will tell if/when he will get another chance to play in the NFL.
