“It’s good to be able to be in such close proximity to learn from him. I look up to the guy,” Gordon said Thursday. “He’s done everything right, so I just enjoy the time being around him.”
This has been an entire process that the Patriots have taken head-on in the last couple of months toward making Gordon feel comfortable with his new team. It has featured the team deciding to place him in a locker next to Brady in the locker room. This has allowed him to get a strong feeling of what is expected from players when playing for New England.

Gordon has been able to translate that into much production on the field over the last nine games. In that time, he has 34 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns. This includes notching more than 60 receiving yards six times with a pair of 100 receiving yard performances. Gordon has brought another element to the passing game with his big-play ability behind his size and speed.
The 27-year-old has a chance to play a major role in the Patriots’ push to the playoffs, where he could help the team contend for the Super Bowl.
