Raiders may try to acquire Deshaun Watson in three-team trade
The Las Vegas Raiders were disappointed the storied NFL franchise was unable to make the playoffs this season. The team failed to live up to expectations after their move to Sin City. As a result they may shake things up with a blockbuster trade for Deshaun Watson.
The Houston Texans star has become a hot commodity ever since he demanded to be traded before next season. Although Derek Carr is coming off a solid season, the Raiders could use a boost offensively with a young star under center and may try to go after him, according to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Derek Carr’s outstanding season has made him a sought-after commodity for teams in need of a quarterback and could open the door for the Raiders to pursue Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
This could be a difficult move for the Raiders to make. Although, Carr could draw some interest from teams in desperate need of an upgrade at quarterback.
The Raiders may try to pull off a three-team trade to acquire Watson from the Texans.

The odds favor them doing just that.
But there is a flip side to the season Carr just produced. Increased demand for his services, insiders say, could create a scenario in which a three-team trade allows the Raiders to acquire Watson.
As seen with the Los Angeles Rams acquiring Matthew Stafford from the Detroit Lions last week, anything can happen in the NFL these days with quarterback trades no longer a rarity. Whether the Raiders have enough to get a deal done or a third team to make it happen remains to be seen.
