Raiders wideout Antonio Brown ready to ‘move on’ from helmet grievance

It has been nothing short of an eventful offseason for Oakland Raiders star wide receiver Antonio Brown. He has been in the news plenty prior to the start of his first campaign with the franchise.

Brown has been entangled in a battle with the league to use his now-banned helmet. The furore has seen him fail to win a pair of grievances filed in correlation to the case. Despite that being the case, his agent Drew Rosenhaus has stated that the All-Pro wideout will now move on from the situation, according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown will “move on” from his fight to wear his old helmet, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

At the same time, Rosenhaus has revealed that Brown has received “multiple offers” from several companies. Each of those companies are all willing to make him a custom helmet and pay him money for it. This is something that has likely significantly caught the attention that has allowed him to move on from this issue.

This should see him sort these offers and get a new helmet more to his liking. As well as that, he’ll be getting paid to go this route. Along with that, the Raiders will be able to finally move on from this entire matter. As a result, the franchise will get their star wide receiver back in the mix.

The team is hoping to make him a significant piece of the puzzle offensively as one of the primary targets in the passing game. When healthy, Brown has shown to be one of the best wide receivers in the league, which is something that the Raiders are hoping to continue over the next few seasons.
