Ravens bring in QB Lamar Jackson for a pre-draft visit

The Baltimore Ravens are not to be overlooked. It is still considered be a force to be reckoned with despite missing the playoffs this past season. John Harbaugh and company appear confident that the can compete in the AFC in 2018. They will hope for parity with the best of the best as they try to get back on track.

The one big question for the Ravens moving forward is whether Joe Flacco is really the answer at quarterback. Flacco may have a Super Bowl title to his credit. However, he hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations since that time.

With that being said, the Ravens may be actively looking for his successor and may have hinted at who they may be targeting for that role on Saturday. Baltimore reportedly brought in quarterback Lamar Jackson for a workout, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.

The Baltimore Ravens are bringing in Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson for a pre-draft visit, according to The MMQB.

The Louisville product is expected to be taken in the first round of the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft. Although there are questions about whether Jackson can play quarterback on the next level, the 21-year-old is confident he can do just that and will almost certainly be drafted as such.

Along with working out Jackson, the Ravens recently signed Robert Griffin III to a one-year deal. Griffin hasn’t played since 2016, but he’ll seemingly backup Flacco next season unless the team does indeed bring in Jackson or another quarterback in the draft.

Baltimore currently has the 16th pick in the NFL Draft and are in good position to take Jackson if that what the ultimately decide to do.
