Ravens QB Lamar Jackson foresees big things for Marquise Brown in 2020By Ryan Ward
The Baltimore Ravens are a team on the rise in the NFL. Quarterback Lamar Jackson went from being a backup behind one-time Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco to a bonafide superstar a year later winning NFL MVP while turning a lot of heads around the league.
In 2020, Jackson will look to take the next step forward in his quest to become the best quarterback in the league. Meanwhile, giving the Ravens the best chance to become Super Bowl champs once again. Along with the superstar quarterback aiming to improve his game, he sees wide receiver Marquise Brown doing the same as he should take it to another level with a healthy foot, via Clifton Brown of BaltimoreRavens.com.

“I feel like he’s going to have a huge jump, more than people may think,” Jackson said. “He was hurt last year, people didn’t know that, but he went out there and battled his tail off each and every game on a messed up foot. Now his full potential is going to show this year I feel. He’s still young, but he’s going to show off. My job is to get the ball out quicker, because he’s a lot faster with that foot 100 percent.”
When the 2020 NFL season gets underway, the Ravens will be considered a legitimate Super Bowl title contender once again. Jackson will have his work cut out for him. This time, the rest of the league knows that he’s the real deal following his MVP campaign last year.
Brown becoming a consistent threat downfield will only help Jackson reach the heights he was able to achieve in 2019 and turn Baltimore into a more well-rounded squad, especially on the offensive side of the football.
